First Aid training is so important that you need to to renew your certificate every two years.
 

Electrical workers will find this course of value not only on the job but also in the home and during recreational periods. This course provides:

  • Instruction and practice in techniques aimed at minimizing the consequences of injury accidents.
  • Skills will be developed for the recognition and treatment of common symptoms of distress, i.e. asphyxia, loss of consciousness, fractures, wounds, etc.
  • Safety awareness and accident prevention

As well as all of the above electrical workers receive the attainment of certification. A "St. John Ambulance certificate complete with Adult C.P.R." will be awarded to each successful candidate.   • Please Note: There is a maximum class limit of 16.
  • The number of people registered in each class (in brackets) will be updated approximately twice a week. Check with office staff for exact numbers.
  • Weeknight courses take place from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm with Saturdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
  • Weekend courses run 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Saturday and Sunday.
