The new training center houses a 5 ton over head crane to provide crane and rigging training.  Working with ACTi (All-Canadian Training institute) we put on a two day 16 hour Overhead Traveling Crane Operator Safety course. The 16 hours included 11 ½ hours of classroom instruction followed by 4 hours of practical. The course covered such topics as Pre-operational checks, Legislated safety requirements to operate an over head crane, shut down process and more. The Electrical Training Center will be running more over head crane courses in the near future and working more closely with the training offered by the ACTi.

Over Head Crane starts Saturday November 7 and ends Sunday November 8, 2009 both days start at 8am and run until 4pm, 2009.

Over Head Crane starts Saturday December 19 and ends Sunday December 20, 2009 both days start at 8am and run until 4pm.

Over Head Crane starts Saturday January 16 and ends Sunday January 17, 2010 both days start at 8am and run until 4pm.
