Two students share one PLC and each have a computer to create programs on.

 

"Programmable Controller 5/04 Using Rslogix 500 Software" is a NJATC course and is being taught for the third time in Winter '04. The former Introductory and Intermediate PLC course will be combined in a four day schedule and use the use the best parts of the NJACT course plus some student projects. We have all the equipment necessary for the course ( a computer for each student and a NTACT 5/04 Programmable Controller Trainer).

The course addresses the basic concepts necessary for ladder logic programming (contacts, coils, latches, timers, counters, sequencers, shift registers, and other specialty ladder logic functions. The course consists of hands on training assignments that get the student into PLC hardware as well as providing extensive hands on PLC programming experience.

Schedule:


Programmable Controllers starts Saturday November 28 and continues Sunday November 29, Saturday December 5 and ends Sunday December 6, 2009 all four days start at 8am and run until 4pm.

Programmable Controllers starts Saturday March 20 and continues Sunday March 21, Saturday March 27 and ends Sunday March 28, 2010.
